We had an amazing 5night stay on level 58. The staff were friendly and polite. The location is fabulous. The apartment was great. We had a very relaxing time by the pool and spa. Everything is close by, the restaurants, bars and cafes. The ocean views are amazing. We will visit again. You really don't need a car as everything is walking distance. I definitely recommend staying at peppers Soul.

We absolutely loved our stay. All staff, particularly the fabulous team at reception, were amazingly polite & courteous. Our room was extremely spacious (sub-penthouse). We had 2 adults & 3 kids and there was plenty of space for us all to relax & enjoy. The views from every balcony were breathtaking. The WiFi is unfortunately slow, and the real downside for a 5 star resort was unfortunately the house keeping. For the price paid I really would expect housekeeping to be up to a much higher standard. I found I did much more cleaning on a holiday than I perhaps ever had, and had to leave polite notes for housekeeping to tend to simple things like restock sugar and ask, or again, politely insist, things like bedding be changed etc. That said, when I did ring guest services for things like extra towels, they were there at the room promptly with them. I am extremely sympathetic to staff shortages but again, for the price of the accommodation, and being a 5 star resort, I do really expect better. Aside from the housekeeping, we had a fantastic and very enjoyable stay.

Kitchen cooking utensils n plates

On 22 Apr2024 some of our cooking utensils and plates at drying bay went missing after room housekeeping. Called service counter and was told to get replacement in the evening. Nobody send replacement items to us. 2nd call back was told utensils store closed n inaccessible to it and have to wait for next day. Next day on 23 Apr2024, missing items not delivered yet. Affecting our preparation for dinner a lot for both evening

Dissapointing !!

Stayed here 2 years ago and it was brilliant but very different this trip !! Agreed great views and nice staff on front desk but that’s where the positives ended ! For a 5 star hotel at $850 a night the least you expect is a clean apartment and house keeping !!! Any house keeping would be nice !! Even when we called down every day only once did someone come up and offer “ clean towels” !! The main bathroom stunk of stale wee and the en-suite had so much old soap scum and general dirt around the shower ( in photos ) . We have a young baby with us and TBH i was uneasy about her crawling on the floor due to the cleanliness issues. Unacceptable . We couldn’t find any power points at the side of the bed for phone chargers and traced a cable to a cheap extension cord tucked behind the mattress !! Really !! Not to mention the TVs are old with no apps to connect to like most modern hotels of this “level” . In general the place is in severe need of decent maintenance and proper house keeping. With all the other 5 star options on the GC now this doesn’t even come close anymore. Such a shame. As for your Accor Plus membership . It’s the usual BS unless you book through Accor you get no benefits what so ever.

Certainly it seems well fell far short of our usually high standards. Your comments about the clean have been share with the housekeeping team so that we can use this and improve on our service. All of our rooms are equipped with Foxtel IQ which offer streaming services and has access to a large selections of TV stations, movies and shows. Once again, please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Impressive Hotel in great location with unbeatable views. This Hotel looks after its valued Accor members from pre-arrival courtesy call to check out. All Platinum benefits received including a delicious breakfast. Well worth a stay!!
